▌PCG Power Launches Major Photovoltaic Projects to Promote Green Energy and Reduce Carbon Footprint

 

PCG Power, a leading comprehensive energy management service provider, has commenced construction on the Xianchun photovoltaic project at Weigang Diary, spanning 85,000 square meters of colorful steel tile roofs. By utilizing advanced photovoltaic modules and cutting-edge inverter technology, the project is projected to generate an average of 13.77 million kWh of electricity annually over the next 25 years. This initiative will result in annual savings of approximately 5,500 tons of standard coal and a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 13,728 tons, which is equivalent to planting nearly 750,000 trees.

 

Additionally, PCG Power has initiated the construction of a 5MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic project at Daikin's manufacturing plant in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, in East China. The first phase of the PCG Power Daikin project boasts an installed photovoltaic capacity expected to produce up to 5 million kWh of electricity annually, while significantly cutting carbon dioxide emissions by more than 2,850 tons per year.

 

 

▌CIX Technology's P1 Chip Achieves Compatibility with openKylin 2.0, Paving the Way for New AI PC Experience

 

CIX Technology, a developer of Arm-based smart CPUs, has completed product compatibility certification with the openKylin community, a desktop operating system community that focuses on Linux open-source technology. 

 

Following rigorous joint testing, the AI personal computer prototype powered by CIX Technology's P1 SoC chip demonstrated excellent compatibility with the openKylin 2.0 version, showcasing stable overall operation and outstanding performance in various functions and capabilities. The P1 SoC chip from CIX Technology features a 12-core Armv9 architecture processor design, heterogeneously integrating CPU, GPU, and NPU. With AI computing power reaching 45 TOPS, it supports edge-side large models with up to 10 billion parameters, boasts powerful multimedia processing capabilities, and exhibits efficient power management.

▌Sunman Energy's Innovative Lightweight PV Modules Power Hangzhou East Railway Station and Hangzhou Yunqi Town Exhibition Center

 

Sunman Energy, a manufacturer of solar panels, has connected its 1.5MW photovoltaic power generation project at Hangzhou East Railway Station to the grid. The project utilizes Sunman's lightweight flexible photovoltaic modules, the SMF520, which weigh only 2.8kg/m², or 30% of the weight of traditional modules, and have a thickness of just 2 millimeters, achieving a truly glass-free, frameless, and ultra-thin design.

Furthermore, Sunman Energy has connected its lightweight photovoltaic power generation project at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Yunqi Town, Hangzhou to the grid. Upon completion and operation, the project is expected to deliver 903,700 kWh of clean electricity annually, resulting in savings of approximately 325.3 tons of standard coal, a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by about 901.0 tons, a decrease in carbon dust emissions by approximately 245.8 tons, and a lowering of sulfur dioxide emissions by 27.1 tons.

 

 

▌Rhino Unveils High-Performance Chip for Advanced Autonomous Driving

 

Rhino, a developer of autonomous driving chips, has unveiled its inaugural chip, Guangzhi, or R1 in English, to accelerate the large-scale deployment of high-level autonomous driving systems. 

 

The R1 chip adopts a 7nm automotive-grade manufacturing process and integrates up to 45 billion transistors. It features an 8-core SIMT architecture, offering more than 500 TOPS of deep learning computing power and exceeding 420k DMIPS of CPU computing power, with 24 built-in Arm Cortex-A78AE cores. R1 has passed rigorous automotive-grade certifications, meeting ASIL-D and EVITA Full standards, ensuring safety and reliability throughout the mass production process.

 

 

▌EACON Wins Major Bids for Autonomous Haulage Solutions, Revolutionizing Mining Operations

 

EACON, a pioneering provider of autonomous haulage solutions, has secured two major bids. 

 

Firstly, EACON has won the bid for the unmanned driving project of an iron ore and building materials production line at Shougang Group. EACON's autonomous trucks will seamlessly integrate with the existing automatic truck dispatch system, receiving dispatch instructions alongside manned trucks, achieving unparalleled collaborative scheduling between manned and unmanned fleets.

 

Secondly, EACON has been awarded the bid to provide a comprehensive suite of unmanned driving-related technical services to Xichang Mining's Taihe Iron Mine, which is now part of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited. EACON will establish a fully integrated unmanned transportation system with robust mixed-fleet capabilities, significantly elevating the efficiency and safety standards of mining operations at Taihe Iron Mine.

▌Momenta Partner with GAC AION, IM Motors to Accelerate Mass Production of Advanced Intelligent Driving Technologies

 

Momenta, an autonomous driving firm, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with GAC AION to develop advanced intelligent driving solutions and jointly promote the mass production and popularization of high-level intelligent driving technologies such as city NDA (Navigated Driving Assist). These intelligent driving solutions leverage Momenta's end-to-end deep learning algorithm capabilities within its large-scale intelligent driving model, enabling consumers to enjoy higher safety and convenience under complex and extreme driving conditions. 

 

Additionally, at the IM AD Day, a joint event hosted by IM Motors and Momenta focusing on intelligent driving technology, the two companies announced that IM AD 3.0 has taken the lead in completing a generational evolution from "most human-like" to "intuitive", officially entering a new era of "intuitive" intelligent driving. Based on the "one-stage end-to-end intelligent driving large model", this system boasts an industry-first unique architecture of "long- and short-term memory modes", which enables more efficient training costs and significantly accelerates model iteration speeds, empowering the product with "expert-level intuition".
