▌Momenta Achieves Global Milestones with Partner Vehicle Launches

 

Autonomous driving leader Momenta has marked several milestones: Chery launched the Fulwin A9L, its first vehicle co-developed with Momenta, while IM Motors introduced the Momenta-powered IM5 and IM6 in the UK and Australia—marking the company's first Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) deployment in the Southern Hemisphere. Both IM5 and IM6 will begin customer deliveries in September.

 

 

▌AlphaESS Unveils EMS 5.0 Energy Platform as 60MWh Suzhou Storage Project Goes Live

 

Energy storage innovator AlphaESS has introduced its EMS 5.0, the latest evolution of its Energy Management System featuring enhanced smart monitoring ("See"), adaptive control ("Control"), AI analytics ("Calculate") and efficiency optimization ("Save") capabilities. The system represents a significant upgrade in closed-loop energy optimization for industrial applications.

Separately, AlphaESS has commissioned a 60MWh energy storage project for textile manufacturer Jiangsu Lixin Chemical Fiber Technology Co., Ltd in Suzhou—currently the largest single industrial storage installation in the city. This "Storage + Textile" application demonstrates practical pathways for high-load manufacturing sectors to achieve both sustainability and cost-efficiency targets.

Seyond and SHACMAN have signed a deal to co-develop long-haul trucks, point-to-point highway logistics vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks to accelerate autonomous driving adoption across full logistics scenarios. 

Concurrently, Seyond will collaborate with KUSA Tech on R&D and commercialization of unmanned street sweepers, aiming to build an efficient smart sanitation ecosystem.

▌Hiway Wins Dual Honors: 2025 "Mass Production Pioneer Award" & Provincial Pilot Platform Selection

 

Auto parts maker Hiway has achieved two significant milestones. 

The company won the 2025 "Mass Production Pioneer Award" from Gaogong Intelligent Vehicles Research Institute for its 24-inch rigid AMOLED dual-screen, featured in NIO ET9's 1.4-meter SkyLine digital dashboard that entered mass production in March 2025.

In addition, Hiway was selected for the 2025 Hubei Provincial Manufacturing Pilot Production Platform Development List. A manufacturing "pilot production" phase refers to transitional testing that bridges prototype development and full-scale production. By subjecting trial-stage products to rigorous verification in pilot platforms, enterprises can significantly mitigate industrialization risks before mass manufacturing.

 

▌Ronbay Technology Recognized as "2025 New Energy & New Materials Innovator"; Hubei Unit Wins Quality Management Honor

 

Battery material producer Ronbay Technology has been named a "2025 New Energy & New Materials Innovator" in a joint selection by Gaogong Lithium Battery, Gaogong Energy Storage, and Gaogong Industry Research Institute. 

Ronbay’s Hubei subsidiary earned the "Hubei Provincial Exemplary Quality Management Practice Benchmark" title, marking its second major quality accolade after previously winning the "Ezhou Mayor's Quality Award."

Solar panel manufacturer Sunman Energy was named the most innovative PV company by Century New Energy Network, which compiled the 13th PVBL Global Photovoltaic Brand Rankings (2025), in recognition of its technological breakthroughs and commercialization capabilities.

Concurrently, the company received a “Yilu Tongcheng” award from In-en.com at the website’s 20th anniversary.

Laser welding innovator United Winners, in collaboration with Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), has been awarded the 2023 Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class). The honor recognizes their R&D and commercialization efforts on the Dual-Wavelength Laser High-Speed Hybrid Welding Technology for High-Capacity Lithium Battery Equipment.

Intelligent chassis innovator BIBO has earned significant recognition across China's investment and automotive sectors. The company was listed on the "2025 China Future Unicorn TOP100" ranking (jointly released by the China Council for International Investment Promotion and WeLian).
