LimX Dynamics, a general-purpose humanoid robotics company, announced the completion of a nearly US$200 million Series Pre-IPO funding round—bringing its total raised over the past six months to US$400 million—with existing shareholder NIO Capital continuing to participate.

 

 

Over 10 NIO Capital-Backed Companies Showcase at WAIC 2026

 

Eleven portfolio companies from NIO Capital took center stage at WAIC 2026, held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20. The lineup spanned the AI spectrum—from chips and Token factories to enterprise AI and Agent operating systems, embodied models, and multifunctional robots. Exhibitors included CIX Technology, SiliconFlow, Black Sesame Technologies, Rhino, StepFun, GENITECH, Standard Robots, Sudo, Whale, Dexmal, and LimX Dynamics.

NIO Capital portfolio company Whale, an enterprise AI company that helps consumer and retail brands transform their physical and digital operations through AI-native solutions, has secured a $40 million Series C3 round, bringing its total Series C funding to over $100 million. The round drew investors from a broad range of core industries, including cross-border finance, telecommunications, automotive manufacturing, advanced industrials, urban rail transit, and multinational commerce.

 

 

BoCloud Completes New Funding Round of Several Hundred Million Yuan

 

NIO Capital portfolio company BoCloud, a cloud-native AI infrastructure software provider that has evolved from its roots in cloud computing to offer a full-stack platform spanning AI orchestration, model development, and AI Agent solutions, has completed a new funding round totaling several hundred million yuan. The financing will provide strong support for the company's AI strategy to deepen its expansion into finance, manufacturing, and public services.
