NIO Capital’s Portfolio Companies Attend China International Import Expo

 

Nreal, a leading brand of AR glasses, Pony.ai, an autonomous vehicle technology company, and Auto-link, a comprehensive logistics provider, attended the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. Autonomous driving technology company Momenta participated in a forum at the expo.

This year’s expo received extensive attention at home and abroad, with 284 enterprises among Fortune 500 participating in the event, with many pavilions representing the highest level in the world.

 

NIO Capital Portfolio Companies Offer VR Experience of World Cup Matches

 

During the Qatar World Cup, NOLO and Nreal joined hands with China Mobile to unlock a new World Cup VR viewing experience for fans. By putting on the NOLO Sonic/CM1 device or Nreal AR glasses and turning on the mobile cloud VR, users can get a multi-dimensional viewing experience of 64 exciting matches.

Yunchuang Zhixing (YCZX) Completes Pre-A+ Financing Round

 

In November, driverless sanitation vehicle developer YCZX announced the completion of the Series pre-A+ financing round to enhance R&D and business development. In July, NIO Capital co-led the company’s pre-A round.

 

Yunchuang Zhixing to Establish Operational Headquarters in Anhui Province

 

YCZX will establish its operational headquarters in Hefei High-tech Zone in Anhui Province. The high-tech hub relies on a free trade zone in the area to carry out pilot projects to explore the future possibilities of unmanned sanitation vehicles.

 

Pony.ai Launches the Third-Generation of Driverless Truck System

 

Pony.ai released the third-generation self-driving truck software and hardware integration system catering to the needs of trunk logistics services. The system was first applied to the autonomous driving heavy truck jointly developed by Pony.ai and Sany Group and manufactured by Yiji, a joint venture established by the two parties to produce intelligent trucks. The first batch of smart trucks was delivered to CYANTRON, a logistics company, in November 2022.

 

Pony.ai Receives the Unmanned Test Qualification of ‘No One in the Front Row and People in the Back Row’

 

The Beijing Intelligent Connected Vehicle Policy Pioneering Zone issued the second-stage test permit for autonomous driving. Pony.ai became the first batch of enterprises approved to start the unmanned test qualification of “no one in the front row and people in the back row”. It is the prelude to the remote testing without a safety operator in the vehicle.

 

Pony.ai Joins Hands with Sinotrans and Sany Group

 

Autonomous driving firm Pony.ai announced a plan to cooperate with its strategic partners Sinotrans, a shipping giant, and Sany Group, a high-end equipment manufacturing industry, allied to advance intelligent logistics. The three parties will leverage advantages in autonomous driving and smart heavy trucks.

 

EACON Cooperates with YUTONG to Facilitate Unmanned Mining Industry

 

EACON, an enterprise focusing on driverless mine trucks, formed strategic cooperation with YUTONG, a vehicle manufacturing enterprise. This cooperation establishes a deep link between the two parties in new energy and autonomous driving fields, invigorating the intelligent and low-carbon construction of the mining industry.

 

Lotus Joins Hands with Lenovo to Apply AI Vision Intelligence to Inspect Vehicles

 

In November, Lenovo signed cooperation agreements with Lotus, a high-end sports car brand. The two parties will deploy an AI vision automatic inspection application based on Lenovo’s “Smart Eye” in Lotus Global Smart Factory in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The “Smart Eye” solution will be used in the quality inspection of the whole vehicle in silent rooms, which can cut costs and enhance production efficiency.

AlphaESS’ Residential Energy Storage Product Wins Good Design Award, Following the Red Dot Design Award

 

SMILE-G3, the fifth generation of AlphaESS’s residential energy storage system, won Japan’s Good Design Award (G-Mark), known as the “Oriental Design Oscar” in November. As a result, AlphaEss became the “Double Winner” of both G-Mark and the Red Dot Design Award, which came in September.

 

NewLink Cooperates with Big Tree Finance to Serve MSMEs

Nreal ranked first in AR products sales in terms of quantity and transaction volume during this year’s Double 11 shopping festival on November 11, according to JD.com, a famous online shopping platform in China. Nreal also ranked top in the sale of intelligent glasses on Amazon in the US and Japan.
